How Banger works
Banger turns a post on X into a coin on pump.fun. TikTok, Reddit and Instagram are coming soon. The coin's fees are locked, on chain, away from whoever launched it: 80% belong to the person who wrote the post. They prove the account is theirs by logging in where they posted it, choose a wallet, and are paid automatically from then on. They never have to have heard of the coin first.

1Overview
Memecoins are made out of other people's posts every day. The person who made the joke gets nothing, and whoever was fastest to launch keeps the fees. Banger flips that.
- 1Someone pastes a postAny public post on X. The coin's picture, name and ticker are suggested from it, and can be edited.
- 2The coin launches on pump.funWith two approvals in the launcher's wallet: create the coin, then lock its fees. The launcher is locked out of the fees for good.
- 3Fees are claimed every 2 minutesAutomatically, on chain. 80% lands in the vault under the creator's X account number. 20% is the platform's.
- 4The creator logs in with XThat proves the account is theirs. They paste a wallet address once.
- 5They are paid, and keep being paidEverything waiting is sent within minutes. After that, whatever their posts earn arrives by itself.
2Launching from a post
Paste the link on the Launch page, or straight into the box on the home page. The post appears exactly as X reports it, with its real author.
- What works
- Any public post on x.com or twitter.com
- Coming soon
- TikTok, Reddit and Instagram. They are built and waiting on those platforms' developer approvals.
- What doesn't
- Deleted, private or age-restricted posts. We can't read them, so we can't tell who wrote them.
- Picture
- The post's first photo, or the author's avatar. You can upload your own instead.
- Name and ticker
- Suggested from the post's words. Change them to whatever you like.
- Cost
- About 0.02 SOL in pump.fun and network fees, plus your first buy if you make one. Banger charges nothing to launch.
- What you earn
- Nothing from fees. You can buy the coin like anyone else.
The launch is two approvals because a wallet test-runs every transaction before showing it, and the fee lock can only pass that test once the coin exists. Asking for both at once makes wallets warn that they can't verify the second one.
3Who gets paid
The author of the post, as X reports it at the moment the coin is registered. Nothing the launcher types can change that.
Money is tracked under the author's permanent X account number, not their handle. If they rename their account, it is still theirs. If someone else later takes their old handle, that person gets nothing.
TikTok, Reddit and Instagram don't give out an account number, only a handle, and a handle can be given up and taken by someone else. So there a handle alone is never enough. The first time someone collects, we go back to the post the coin was made from and ask the platform who its author is that day. A creator who renamed their account still matches their own post; someone who grabbed their old handle doesn't. After that first match the money is tied to their account, not the name.
The post is written into the coin's description, on chain, as a line like this:
Fees to x.com/handle/status/1234567890 via BangerThe first post a coin registers with is the one it keeps. It can't be pointed at someone else later.
4The 80/20 split
- 80%
- To the person who wrote the post
- 20%
- To Banger. This is the platform's only income.
- 0%
- To whoever launched the coin
- Set by
- pump.fun fee sharing, split on chain between two wallets
- Made permanent by
- pump.fun locking the split once it is set
The launcher getting 0% is the point. If launching paid, people would farm famous accounts for fees. Here the only reason to launch a coin from a post is that you think the post deserves one.
5How fees are claimed
pump.fun holds a coin's fees until someone asks it to pay them out. Anyone may ask; the payout can only go to the locked wallets. Banger asks every 2 minutes for every listed coin, from a small wallet that only pays the network fee and never holds funds.
Each claim is recorded with its transaction and exactly how much arrived in each wallet, read back from the chain. Amounts too small to be worth a transaction are left to build up. All of it is on the Money trail.
6Collecting as a creator
- 1Open the Claim pageIt's here. You can first look up your handle on the Creators page to see if anything is waiting.
- 2Log in with XYou're sent to X and back. We ask one thing: who you are. Banger can't post, follow, read your messages or see your password, and we don't keep the access we're given.
- 3Paste a Solana wallet addressAny wallet you control. Phantom, Solflare, an exchange deposit address that accepts SOL. Check it character by character.
- 4That's itWhatever is waiting is sent within a few minutes. From then on payouts happen by themselves once 0.01 SOL has built up.
- Paid in
- SOL, straight to your wallet
- Minimum payout
- 0.01 SOL, so the network fee isn't a visible bite
- Network fee
- A fraction of a cent, taken out of the payout
- Changing wallet
- Log in again and save a new one. Future payouts go there.
7Money that is waiting
Most creators won't know a coin exists when it launches. Their share waits in the vault for as long as it takes. It doesn't expire, it isn't spent, and it doesn't become ours.
Every creator has a public page showing what their posts have earned, what has been paid and what is waiting. If you see a number waiting next to someone you know, tell them.
8The vault
What a creator is owed is never stored as a number that could drift. It is always everything claimed for them minus everything already paid, worked out fresh from the public record each time.
- What can leave it
- Only payouts to creators' saved wallets
- Operator withdrawals
- None. The dashboard can send from the platform wallet only.
- If it is ever short
- Payouts stop by themselves until a person has looked
- Double payments
- Guarded by a lock per creator that is only released once the payout is on record
The vault's address is public, so anyone can compare its balance with the total shown as waiting.
9Coins made elsewhere
A coin created directly on pump.fun can be listed too, if it carries the same locked split and names a post in its description. The Register tab on the Launch page has a four-step guide with the exact description line and both wallet addresses to copy.
There is no approval step and no queue. A coin that meets the rules registers on its own; one that doesn't is told exactly why.
10Blocking coins from your posts
Don't want coins made from your posts? Log in with X on the Claim page and press “Block new coins”. From then on nobody can launch or list one here. Anything already earned stays yours.
We can't delete a coin someone already launched. It lives on pump.fun. On request we take it off this site, which also stops it being claimed here. See For creators.
11If a coin is not registering
- “That isn't a pump.fun coin.”
- The address is wrong, or the coin was made somewhere else.
- “This coin hasn't directed its fees anywhere yet.”
- Fee sharing hasn't been set up on pump.fun.
- “Fees aren't split 80/20…”
- The wallets or percentages don't match. pump.fun locks the split once set, so that coin can't be fixed.
- “The fee split can still be edited.”
- The split was started and not confirmed. Finish it so it locks.
- “The description doesn't name a post.”
- The line is missing or changed. A description can't be edited after launch.
- “Couldn't read that post on X.”
- It was deleted, made private or age-restricted. Try again in a minute in case X was just slow.
12What you are trusting
Be clear-eyed about this. The fee split is enforced by pump.fun on chain. Holding the creators' share and paying it out is done by Banger, and that part is trust.
- On chain, can't be changed
- Where a coin's fees go: 80% to the vault, 20% to the platform wallet
- Public, checkable by anyone
- Every claim, every payout, the vault's balance
- Trusted to Banger
- Keeping the vault's key safe, and paying creators from it
- Trusted to X
- Telling us truthfully who wrote a post and who is logging in
Trading a coin is speculation. Coins are volatile and most go to zero. A coin made from someone's post is not endorsed by that person unless they say so. Banger is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of X or pump.fun. The disclosures set this out in full.
